How to play
The rules
Fill the grid so that every row, every column and every 3 by 3 box has each digit from 1 to 9 once. Some digits are given at the start. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and you never need to guess.
Today's puzzle
There is one daily puzzle, the same for everyone. A new one starts every day at midnight UTC (5:30 AM in India). Solve it on consecutive days to build a streak. When you finish, you can share your time, hints and streak. The result card never shows the board, so it gives nothing away.
Practice
Play as many extra puzzles as you like, in easy, medium or hard. Easy puzzles need only the basic steps: a cell with one possible digit, or a digit with one possible place. Medium puzzles need pairs and pointing digits. Hard puzzles need triples, X-wings, XY-wings or swordfish.
Tap to play
- Tap a cell, then tap a digit.
- Pencil adds small notes instead of an answer. Tap it again to go back to answers.
- Erase clears a cell. Undo takes back your last move.
- Hint fills in one correct digit. Hints are counted on your result.
- Mistakes show in red. You can turn this off in settings.
Keyboard
| Arrow keys | Move between cells |

Calm by design
There is no clock on screen while you play. Your time appears when you finish. If you like a clock, turn on "Show timer" in settings. No ad ever appears while a puzzle is in progress.
Settings
Large print makes the board and digits bigger. It is on by default on small screens. Text size has two steps. Digits can be shown as 1 to 9 or as १ to ९.
